This role provides professional project management support and staff supervision within the J-9 Business Support Operations’ Human Resources, Military & Manpower Team. This position provides direction and supervision to a team of analysts and administrators, and reviews the team’s deliverables such as position descriptions, announcements, newsletters, presentations, meeting minutes, etc. for quality, completeness and accuracy. This role reports to the contract’s Deputy Program Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Provide direction and supervision to a team of analysts and administrators supporting the Human Resources Division.
Review team deliverables such as position descriptions, announcements, newsletters, presentations, meeting minutes, etc. for quality, completeness and accuracy.
Manage specified project objectives, project constraints, and project risk.
Serve as primary liaison with IT division and other technical resources supporting various projects and/or programs.
Analyze, maintain and troubleshoot systems and databases containing human resource information.
Gather requirements for updates to technical systems.
Train employees on database usage and other technical tools.
Plan and develop analyses, reports, and presentations.
Evaluate data by utilizing regression analysis and other methods to understand and describe findings.
Maintain and enhance team SharePoint site.
Minimum 8 years’ experience working in Military or Department of Defense Human Resources Division.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with DoD HR Information Systems, structure, reporting requirements, and related protocols.
Technical skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, and other information management tools.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus but not required.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting HR information systems.
MS SharePoint experience
